National Grid is hiring a Lead Analyst for our New England Electric Governance & Assurance department in Northborough, MA.

The Governance & Assurance team is accountable for the governance, performance management, reporting, and continuous improvement of the safe and efficient delivery of capital and customer projects under the Network Delivery Process. The team is accountable for ensuring that the organization’s projects are governed effectively and aligned with strategic goals and objectives.
- Collect and analyze project data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks
- Create and maintain governance and assurance databases and tracking systems
- Perform governance exception reporting, as well as track issues, changes, and decisions related to process adherence
- Summarize project performance metrics and provide specialized direction and recommendations to the project teams and management for the resolution of diverse project and process issues
- Create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project and process performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop performance reports for management and stakeholders
- Play a pivotal part in supporting projects through their gate governance by providing central assurance- Bachelor’s Degree required with 5+ years of proven relevant experience required
- Master’s Degree is a plus
- Previous utility project management and/or analytics experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PP, Excel, Power BI)
- Governance, assurance, process, and change management experience is a plus
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license required
