Lead Project Manager

Voltage LLC is seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of high-impact projects across departments. In this role, you’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of managing complex projects from start to finish, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Lead project planning sessions to define scope, goals, deliverables, and deadlines.

- Develop detailed project schedules and work plans using appropriate tools and templates.

- Facilitate regular meetings to communicate project progress, issues, and solutions to customers, internal stakeholders and leadership.

- Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects.

- Monitor progress, adjust timelines and resource allocation as needed, and ensure all stakeholders are informed of status and risks.

- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast needs.

- Prepare comprehensive project documentation including status reports, risk assessments, and final summaries.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

- Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.

- Conduct pre- and post-project reviews with customers and internally and implement continuous improvement practices.

- Mentor junior project managers and provide guidance on project management best practices.

- Foster strong working relationships with team members, vendors, and clients.

Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

- 5+ years of proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to closure.

- Experience working in solar, renewable energy, construction, or manufacturing.

- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide, influence, and motivate teams.

- Strong organizational, and time management.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet).

- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle).

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts effectively.

- Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Scrum).
