•Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, planning, surveying, natural resources) and external stakeholders to deliver creative, cost-effective designs.
•Lead project development from concept through construction documents—including planting plans, irrigation, site furnishing, and technical specs.
•Prepare presentation materials, participate in public outreach, and incorporate feedback into final designs.
•Mentor junior staff, contribute to team standards, and support overall team development.
•Oversee construction administration tasks such as site reviews, submittal review, and project closeout.
Who You Are
•.Licensed Landscape Architect in Oregon or Washington (or eligible for reciprocity within a reasonable time)
•Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
•7+ years of professional experience with a portfolio that includes both private and public sector work.
•Proficient in AutoCAD (with Land F/X), Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam, and similar design tools.
•Strong understanding of site planning, plant selection, irrigation design, construction principles, and regional codes.
•Proven ability to manage complex projects, communicate with clients, and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
•Experience with project budgeting and cost estimating.
•Familiarity with Pacific Northwest native and ornamental plant species.
