Landscape Carpenter

Position: Outdoor Landscaping and Carpentry Specialist

Salary: $3,000 gross monthly working 25 hours per week

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and dependable individual to transform and maintain an outdoor space. This role involves both landscaping and light construction duties, including the safe removal of dead trees, revitalization of the garden, and the design and construction of a wooden deck and a pergola-style garden house. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has hands-on carpentry experience, and holds formal training in forestry or a related field.

Academic Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Design, or a related field.

Other Requirements

Must meet the Science Horizons Program criteria as this position is grant-funded by the Canadian Government.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
