Position Overview:
We are seeking a Landscape Designer to help manage our design process from start to finish. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys turning ideas into beautifully designed landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
•Meet with clients to uncover project goals and develop detailed estimates
•Use CAD (Dynascapes) and drafting tools to create compelling visual representations of landscape projects
•Develop planting, layout, grading, irrigation, lighting, and construction plans
•Conduct site visits for photo documentation, measurements, and analysis
•Prepare base plans, preliminary concepts, and detailed working drawings
•Develop visually engaging 2D and 3D presentation packages (renderings, samples, and photos)
•Perform material take-offs and assist in developing installation bids
•Research materials and prepare project submittal applications (e.g., permits)
•Navigate city and county regulations and permitting requirements
•Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members
•Manage project schedules, prioritize deliverables, and maintain budgets
•Utilize company CRM to manage design, estimating, and invoicing processes
•Serve as Account Manager, maintaining client contact and managing renewals
•Meet applicable sales goals
Qualifications:
•Degree or certification in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field
•3+ years of professional hands-on experience creating and executing design projects
•Proficiency in Dynascapes (preferred), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Strong knowledge of plant material, grading, drainage, lighting, and construction methods
•Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills
•Strong graphic presentation and computer-rendering skills
•Ability to measure, calculate areas, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•Familiarity with local permitting and zoning requirements
•A positive, flexible attitude and passion for growth
•You have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for learning, and the drive to manage multiple projects with precision

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
