Activités

- Perform analytical work to support the efforts in polymer product development, technical service support of

customers, and the production facilities.

- Work and cross-train with other laboratory chemists as a unit sharing responsibilities.

- Take responsibility for actions and seek to solve customer problems.

- Service and maintain laboratory equipment, as much as technically possible, to ensure that it is operating at an

optimum level.

- Inform supervisor of requirements for refurbishing and replacing laboratory supplies and materials.

- Broaden knowledge of analytical chemistry and petrochemical products through involvement in scientific literature.

- Continually develop innovative new methods and improve existing methods.

- HSE responsibilities include: Understanding, supporting, and compliance with all site policies, procedures and

applicable regulations; conducting applicable safety activities, including inspections and audits as assigned;

completion of assigned HSE action items; and completion of regulatory and other required training.

- Additional duties as assigned.

- Responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

Profil du candidat

- B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited university in Chemistry or a related science.

- 0-3 years of laboratory experience.

- Strong computer, written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to comply with all safety regulations of the position.

- Ability to work flexible schedule and weekends as needed.

- Submit to random drug screening/post-offer negative screening.

- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.
