Laboratory Analyst

Overview:

As a Laboratory Technician at Gannon & Scott, you’ll play a key role in supporting the accurate analysis and recovery of precious metals for a wide range of industries. Whether working independently or alongside team members, your efforts will help ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence in a high-integrity lab environment.

What You’ll Do:

- Conduct a variety of tests and analyses on customer samples using laboratory equipment and standardized procedures.

- Assist in preparing and processing samples to determine precious and base metal content.

- Contribute to the accuracy and consistency of laboratory results by following established methods and protocols.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and handle all materials with attention to safety and quality.

- Identify and report any discrepancies or anomalies in testing or results.

- Support continuous improvement and collaborate with others to meet team goals.

What We’re Looking For:

- An associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years in a laboratory setting).

- A hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to accuracy and safety.

- Someone comfortable working with laboratory instruments, chemicals, and data.

- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

- Ability to follow directions and remain focused in a precision-driven environment.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

- Must be 18+ and able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

- Regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds (occasionally up to 30 pounds).

- Work in an industrial lab environment that may involve exposure to moderate noise, varying temperatures, and handling of materials and chemicals.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
