We’re looking for a Labor Compliance Coordinator/Project Coordinator to join our high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, values accuracy, and brings a helpful, patient, and kind approach to their work.
In this role, you’ll ensure certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance while working closely with subcontractors, internal teams and third-party compliance partners. You’ll also provide front office administrative support, oversee subcontractor insurance reviews, and verify that subcontractors are authorized to perform work onsite. Key Responsibilities:
•Manage certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance
•Ensure all labor practices meet federal, state & local requirements
•Work closely and communicate daily with subcontractors to ensure labor requirements are met
•Coordinate with third-party compliance teams
•Review and organize labor compliance documentation
•Conduct internal audits and resolve compliance issues
•Stay current on labor law changes and implement necessary updates
•Assist with compliance training for staff.
•Provide front office support and assist with administrative tasks
•Review and track subcontractor insurance documentation
•Verify subcontractor eligibility for on-site work
•Review and track subcontractor insurance documentation
•Meet deadlines while staying organized and proactive
Qualifications:
•1+ years in a labor compliance role within the construction industry
•Experience with certified payroll, subcontractor coordination and working with third-party compliance teams
•Understanding of prevailing wage laws and labor compliance
•Excellent communication, organizational, and file management skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
•Organized and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
•A calm, helpful, and professional attitude under pressure
