Position Overview
SLACAN Industries is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Supervisor to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Junior Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. You will assist in overseeing daily activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring that production goals are met, quality standards are upheld, and safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities
•Monitor production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
•Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
•Troubleshoot minor issues on the production line and escalate more complex problems to senior management.
•Train and mentor production staff to improve performance and efficiency.
•Maintain accurate records of production output, materials used, and workforce hours.
•Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity.
•Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
•1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with some supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
•Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
•Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
•Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
•Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
