We are seeking a highly motivated
Product Analystto support complex, large-scale technology initiatives impacting millions of customers daily. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Owners and senior stakeholders to translate product vision into well-defined user stories, business requirements, and executable backlog items.
You will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, defining system functionality, and supporting the delivery of innovative solutions across
Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), IoT, Smart City, and data-driven platforms. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence customer experience, operational efficiency, and next-generation utility technologies.
The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working at the intersection of business, technology, and data in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Partner with Product Owners to align product vision with user stories and backlog execution
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Serve as the primary source for business logic, requirements, and impact analysis
- Collaborate with SMEs, vendors, and cross-functional teams (Customer Ops, Electric, Gas)
- Break down features, prioritize requirements, and support roadmap planning
- Support AMI systems including
MDMS, EIP, data analytics, and troubleshooting
- Design and maintain functional and technical documentation
- Configure and support vendor and enterprise applications
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing and UAT
- Prepare and support production releases and change implementations
- Provide 24x7 on-call support and participate in disaster recovery drills
- Communicate complex technical concepts to business and non-technical users
- Contribute to innovation initiatives such as
Smart City, IoT, sensors, mesh networks, and field devices
Required Skills / Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role- Strong understanding of
AMI systems, MDMS, EIP, and data analytics platforms
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with user stories and backlogs
- Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs
- Experience supporting vendor-based and enterprise applications
- Knowledge of system integration, testing methodologies, and production support
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse technical and business teams
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IoT platforms, smart grid, or smart city technologies
- Utility industry or large-scale infrastructure experience
- Familiarity with sensors, mesh networks, and field device technologies
