Junior Accounting

As an Accountant, you'll be responsible for applying fundamental accounting principles to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and prepare information to be posted to the general ledger. Allocate expenditures, receipts, encumbrances, and receivables in alignment with established schedules. Prepare information that will be provided to both internal and external auditors Evaluate and approve financial transactions within authorized limits, ensuring compliance with internal policies. Perform reconciliations of both balance sheet and income statement accounts Investigate, resolve, and correct discrepancies in financial entries, documents, and reports. Document accounting systems and control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency. Collect and analyze data to prepare federal, state, and local regulatory reports and tax filings. Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned. What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. One to two years of relevant accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
