As a Junior Account Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will be an integral part of our sales team, providing essential support to senior account managers in nurturing client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and contributing to the development of robust sales strategies. This role offers a dynamic and highly collaborative environment where you will assist with account planning, facilitate seamless customer communication, and coordinate various aspects of the sales process including involvement of outside events all while gaining valuable experience in the energy sector.
Provide comprehensive assistance to senior colleagues across various tasks, including account management, pipeline management and administration as RFP, quotes, and other sales activities focused to cultivate of strong customer relationships.
Actively participate in the identification of new business opportunities within the utility segments including distribution, generation and transmission.
Contribute meaningfully to the development of sales strategies, detailed account plans, and accurate sales forecasts.
Support Senior Account Managers as per need basis on customer inquiries, maintaining consistent and proactive communication with clients to ensure high satisfaction and promptly address any issues while ensuring proper alignment with Sr Account Managers.
Assist in coordinating a wide range of sales activities, including the logistics and development of proposals with our inside sales team, ensuring the customers needs are captured in our offering, and efficient order processing.
Participate in thorough market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new opportunities for Hitachi Energy's innovative products and services.
Actively contribute to building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential for effective client and internal interactions.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a closely related field.
up to 2 years sales or business development in Ontario customers, ideally within the energy sector.
A foundational understanding of the energy industry and a basic familiarity with Hitachi Energy's products and services.
Must be a driven, hands on and resourceful results-oriented individual with proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
