Journeyman Lineworker

The City of Remsen, population 1686, is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Journeyman Line worker. This position is responsible for the operation, construction and maintenance of the City’s electrical distribution system and supervises electric department staff. This position works on-call rotation and responds to emergencies and/or repairs as needed.

Applicants must be a certified journeyman line worker with proper documentation.

Starting salary $100,000-$125,000 based on experience and qualifications. Average annual on call pay $7,500 a year. The City of Remsen also offers an excellent benefits package.
