Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team for out of town work. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices, along with hands-on experience in construction and renovation projects.
This position travels out of town weekly, requiring out of town stay Monday-Thursday (leaving Monday mornings, back Thursday afternoons), with the occasional stay to Friday. Per diems paid for each overnight stay.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on high voltage and low voltage systems
- Collaborate with other tradesmen on construction sites to complete projects efficiently
- Perform renovations involving electrical work in existing structures
- Utilize hand tools/power tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical installations
- Journeyman licensed by the State of Colorado
- Current driver's license, clean MVR
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols
- Efficient, intelligent, hard-working, able to work under pressure, professional attitude and appearance
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
