Specific responsibilities include:

- Coordinate drawings from design to release from fabricator to erection

- Answer outside detailer questions

- Send out RFI’s

- Review drawings prior to sending for approval

- Detail & check in-house drawings as required

- Coordinate outside vendor drawings with steel drawings

- Log & track design drawings

Experience/education required:

- 2 – 5 years Structural Steel Detailing Experience

- 2 – 5 years Structural Steel Checking Experience

- Good math and trigonometry skills

- SDSZ & ACAD detailing experience

- Experience in Excel, Word, FabTrol, Outlook and Ram

- Familiarity with the construction industry and be able to read and understand architectural and structural design documents

- Good communication skills and be able to work collectively with others

- Strong commitment to doing quality work

- Supports the company goals and demonstrates initiative
