Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.

Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as restroom sanitation, trash removal, and surface disinfecting.

•

Execute floor care procedures including buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

•

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.

•

Follow safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.

Skills

•

Proven experience in porter services or custodial roles is preferred.

•

Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment usage.

•

Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is an advantage.

•

Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep.

•

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining clean environments.

•

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

•

Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

The schedule for this position would be from 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and 8:00 AM -2:00PM on Wednesdays.
