Janitor

We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our manufacturing team as a Janitor. In this role you will perform a variety of custodial tasks to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Gather and empty trash throughout office and manufacturing facility

- Clean restrooms, offices, break rooms and public areas

- Sweep, mop, scrub and/ or vacuum floors

- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies throughout the facility

- Complete cleaning and maintenance logs

- Respond to emergency situations, perform cleaning as needed

- Perform other custodial duties as required

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED

- 1 year of janitorial experience in industrial or manufacturing environment preferred

- Able to stand and walk throughout 10-hour shift

- Able to reach, push, pull and lift throughout 10-hour shift

- Able to regularly climb ladders and walk up and down staircases

- Willing and able to follow all safety rules and PPE requirements

- Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50 pounds multiple times throughout shift

- Occasionally work in outdoor environments in a variety of weather conditions

- Able to work independently

- Able to speak and understand English, Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese a plus
