Sanitation Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all employees. This position involves working in various settings, including food production and manufacturing areas, where adherence to sanitation protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, work surfaces, and common areas.

- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for industrial cleaning tasks.

- Conduct inspections to identify areas needing attention or additional cleaning.

- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as necessary.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to sanitation standards.

- Participate in training sessions related to sanitation practices and safety procedures.

Skills

- Proven experience in cleaning, particularly in industrial or commercial settings.

- Familiarity with sanitation practices relevant to food production or processing environments.

- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is highly desirable.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during cleaning tasks.

- Knowledge of proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
