Janitorial Worker/Maintenance

Position: Janitorial Worker Shift: First Shift: 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. Location: 2151 Mogadore Road Kent, OH Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an efficient and organized Janitorial Worker to join our team for the first shift. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently with excellent time management skills. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across both the factory floor and business offices.

Key Responsibilities:

- General Cleaning: Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, floor care, trash removal, and restroom cleaning.

- Seasonal Duties:

- Summer: Grass cutting and general outdoor maintenance.

- Winter: Snow and debris removal from sidewalks and entranceways.

- Product Use: Ability to understand and correctly use cleaning products according to instructions.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety standards, ensuring a clean and hazard-free environment.

Requirements:

- Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Time Management: Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within the scheduled shift.

- Product Knowledge: Understanding of cleaning products and their proper use.

- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with workplace safety standards.

Work Environment:

- The factory is not air-conditioned; candidates must be comfortable working in varying temperatures.

- Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks, such as grass cutting in the summer and snow removal in the winter.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
