We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Delta, OH location as a 2nd Shift Janitorial Worker.

The ideal candidate would have experience in working in an ever-changing, fast-moving, and evolving environment. Candidates who have worked within a manufacturing/distribution environment are highly preferred.

Position Summary

The Nova Steel USA Janitorial Worker’s primary duties include, but are not limited to, the cleaning of shop and office areas to a very high standard.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

· Foster a culture of safety awareness and safety prioritization.

- General housekeeping (bathrooms, breakrooms, trash disposal, etc.)

- Cleaning of machinery and equipment as required.

- Clean-up of exterior grounds as required.

- Various other duties as required by the department.

Job Requirements

Education

· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience & Certifications

- Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.

- Prior professional cleaning experience is requested

- Experience driving a Forklift and/or Floor Scrubber

- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

- Communication Skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees.

- Ability to work effectively with others.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

· Working environment and physical requirement are those typical of a manufacturing environment

· Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

· Close mental and visual attention required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
