JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Responsible for planning or laying out work details under general supervision. Must be able to perform routine or difficult tasks involved in the installation, provisioning, and technical support of all types of telecommunications equipment.

Must have one of the following qualifications:
Telecom Tech:Must have worked for at least one year as a qualified Communications Serviceman 3rd Class, or have had equivalent experience in related work, having all qualifications of the previous classification.

Telecom Tech Sr:
Must have worked for at least two years as qualified Communications Serviceman 2nd Class, or have had equivalent experience in related work, having all qualifications of the Communications Serviceman 2nd Class.
