- Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability.
- Upgrade systems to enable compatible software on all computers.
- Install and upgrade anti-virus software to ensure protection of all computers and systems.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace damaged hardware as necessary.
- Provide technical support to employees, addressing any errors or issues at the work location.
- Pro-actively manage all technical documentation and perform daily backups of software.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all departments and employees.
- Train and teach employees on technical issues and best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A+, MS, Oracle, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is advantageous.- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Systems Administration, Security, or Network Administration.
- Experience with printers, copiers, laptops, desktops, and Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in troubleshooting processes and maintaining electronic equipment.
- Experience with routing technology, such as VLANs, port channels, and trunking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to document and record information accurately and adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment.

Specifically for the IT Technician role, we offer an annual base salary range of $65,000.00 - $82,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses, including a monthly efficiency bonuses based on safety and production targets, and quarterly retention bonuses. Our benefits package also includes paid vacation and personal days, 7% RRSP matching, and 100% employer-paid extended health and dental care, among other valuable perks.
