To manage all aspects of user-facing technology in the organization by managing enterprise software and user accounts, developing and maintaining end user training, and providing end user support by managing and maintaining an effective help desk staff and structure.
Education and Experience: Requires an associate’s degree or two years of college coursework in IT related studies. And a minimum of four years’ experience managing IT client systems and at least one year in a leadership role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervision Received: Under direction where a definite objective is set up and the employee plans and arranges own work, referring only unusual cases to supervisor.
Planning: Considerable responsibility regarding assignments in planning time, method, manner, and/or sequence of performance of own work; may also occasionally assist in the planning of work assignments performed by others.
Analytical Ability/Problem Solving: Activities require following various policies with multiple courses of actions as to the execution of tasks. High order of analytical, interpretative, and/or constructive thinking in varied situations.
Responsibility for Work of Others: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include but not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance reviews, rewarding and disciplining staff; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supervises a small group of staff. Assigns and checks work; assists and instructs as required and performs same work as those supervised, or closely related work, a portion of the time. Content of the work supervised is of a technical nature but presents numerous situations to which policies and precedents must be interpreted and applied.
Public Contact: Regular contacts with the public where the contacts may be initiated by the employee. Involves both furnishing and obtaining information and may involve attempting to influence the decisions of those people contacted. Employees should always professionally represent OWASA.
Employee Contact: Contacts with other departments frequently with individuals throughout the organization; consulting on topics for collaboration or the need for approval of action to be taken.

Conditions: Periodically exposed to such elements as noise, intermittent standing, walking, pushing, carrying, or lifting.
