The Specialist II has advanced knowledge within designated Information Technology (IT) area of responsibility that is applied to broad and diverse assignments and associated requirements. This role plans and coordinates activities related to the design, development, implementation and integration of IT solutions. The Specialist II analyzes, evaluates, and recommends innovative solutions. The Specialist II applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems. Individuals in this position typically provide expertise and planning to a number of clients by overseeing, coordinating, and implementing medium to complex IT projects. This position may lead and guide other IT staff.
Required Skills:

Microsoft M365/Entra Administration:
Basics: + Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune. + Experience with cloud migration and integration projects. + Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell). + Familiarity with security and compliance best practices.
Support & Training:
+ Provides technical support and training to end-users on M365 applications and features.+ Serves as a third-level escalation point for users and IT staff.
Collaboration & Documentation:
+ Collaborates with IT teams and stakeholders to design and implement M365 features. + Creates and maintains detailed technical documentation.
Monitoring & Performance:
+ Monitors performance, availability, and configuration standards of M365 services.+ Identifies and implements performance and usability improvements. + Keeps up-to-date with the latest M365 features, changes, updates, roadmaps, and releases.

+ Microsoft M365 Cloud administration: 10 years + United States citizen + Periodic domestic travel
+ Specific certifications like the Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert are preferred. + Experience with hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) may be beneficial. + Experience with other Microsoft products like Power BI, Power Apps, Power Pages and Project Portal may be an advantage. + Powershell automation +Active Directory administration
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
