Protec Equipment Resources is looking for an Operations Specialist I to join our team in our Grand Prairie, Texas location. This position is a critical part of the process to get equipment to the customer when they need it and at the highest level of quality.
Operations Technician I (Inventory Cleaning & Prep / General Warehouse)
Description
This position follows standard operating procedures for cleaning, stocking, and order preparation of Protec inventory, as well as General Warehouse duties. This position is a critical part of the process to get equipment to the customer when they need it and at the highest level of quality.
Qualifications
Position Specific Competencies/Skills Required:
•Strong attention to detail, listening skills, and ability to follow instruction
•Strong customer focus, teamwork, organizational and communication skills
•Working knowledge of Protec Rental Software, MS Office products, including email, Word, Excel and other programs
Experience/Education Required:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
Duties
•Driver/courier of electrical/electronic test equipment and materials as needed
•Check materials and supplies, and report when stock is low
•Cleaning and stocking of Protec inventory per Protec standard operating procedures.
•Inspect each inventory item’s included accessories for correct items, broken items, missing items, and record any problems with the accessories
•Clean and accessorize tools and maintain a clean and orderly workspace, as well as all areas of the warehouse
•Check calibration decals on equipment and report findings
•Utilize company software system to input data necessary to manage inventory
•Making and preparing shipping cartons
•Prepping equipment for shipment to customer per order and packing procedures
•Assist in prepping equipment for shipment to customer per order and packing procedures
•Assist in quality control and safety programs
Special Requirements
•Ability to work overtime, weekends or holidays as needed
•Lifting to 55 pounds may be required
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•First Aid/CPR/AED Training
•SOP’s 00.011, 00.012, 00.013, 00.014, 00.015, 00.016, 00.005, 00.006
•Minimum of 6 months as a level 1 and completion of level 1 evaluation to move to level II.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.05 - $24.15 per hour
