We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and experience with warehouse management systems. This role is crucial for ensuring that our inventory levels are maintained accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with our e-commerce strategies. The Inventory Manager will utilize data analysis skills to make informed decisions that drive operational success.
Responsibilities
•Manage and oversee inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring optimal stock availability.
•Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
•Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to streamline inventory processes and enhance supply chain efficiency.
•Utilize tools such as Tableau for data visualization and reporting on inventory metrics.
•Implement and maintain a robust warehouse management system to track inventory movements accurately.
•Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
•Work closely with the purchasing team to forecast demand and manage buy quantities effectively.
•Leverage data mining techniques to enhance inventory forecasting and decision-making processes.
•Develop strategies for reducing excess inventory while minimizing stockouts in retail operations.
Requirements
•Proven experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably within the retail sector.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
•Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their impact on inventory management practices.
•Experience using AS400 or similar systems for managing inventory records is a plus.
•Proficient in data analysis tools such as Tableau; experience in data mining is advantageous.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate across departments successfully.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
