The Inventory Control position is a full-time hourly position that performs administrative and support functions for the purchasing department.
Responsibilities and Duties
•The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing floor stock inventories by entering inventory transactions into the company computer.
•In addition, the Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating inventories and inter-plant transactions with the various branches to maximize inventories and facilitate sales.
•Frequently communicates with the purchasing, sales, and outside sales departments.
•Backup purchasing with purchase order entry, coordinating, and shipping material.
•Assist Purchasing Manager in daily task as required.
•Assist Office Manager with payables.
•Assist with the physical inventory when required.
Requirements
•Must be dependable and reliable with good attention to detail.
•Experience in computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word ©, Excel, and Outlook.
•Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, problem solving, analytical and technical skills.
