Job Summary

The Third Party Supplier Support (TPSS) process is responsible for the day to day management of third party suppliers in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. Supplier Support Specialist supports the TPSS process by offering expert technical and analytical solutions to address various issues faced by Third Party Suppliers/ Energy Consultants. This includes providing support in areas such as billing, process inquiries, managing data need, gas delivery requirements, capacity obligations, electronic data interchange and other business issues.


Job Responsibilities

Responsible for providing technical and analytical solutions to address issues that Third Party Suppliers/ Energy Consultants are encountering. Offer assistance to suppliers addressing their business needs involving billing, process inquiries, data needs, gas delivery requirements, capacity obligations, electronic data interchange, and other related concerns. Provide superior client support while keeping relationship building as a focus. Manage all aspects of electronic interchange testing/certification with suppliers, and coordinate supplier certification with the Contract Administration group within Energy Supply Acquistion & Operations. Understand the needs of retail settlement while being the liaison to Third Party Suppliers if issues arise. Coordinate amongst key internal & external stakeholders (EDI vendor, Billing, Business Customer Solutions, IT, and others) to monitor and resolve customer system and EDI irregularities with regards to enrollments, historical usage, daily contract quantities, billing, metering and capacity obligations that impact the customer choice processes. Must be professional, self-motivated, results oriented with strong team and relationship building skills. As an employee of PSE&G, you should be aware that during storm/outage restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions different from normal operations and your regular work schedule. You may also be required to work in an alternate location.


Job Specific Qualifications


Requirement:

Bachelors degree and 5+ years relevant work experience: business/financial analysis experience, Utility meter to cash experience. In lieu of a degree, HSD/ GED and a minimum of 9 years relevant work experience: business/financial analysis experience, Utility meter to cash experience.
Strong analytical skills; strong attention to detail
Demonstrated strong, Excel, PowerPoint and PC skills
Knowledge of the SAP Customer Care System
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Strong organizational skills; ability to build and maintain effective partnership within and across organizations
Must possess a valid U. S. Driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record


DESIRED:

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the New Jersey Energy Customer Choice processes.
Experience in database management
Knowledge of the, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and experience
Customer/Vendor relationship management.
Demonstrated strong MS Access
