Purpose of Role: The Internal Communications Content Specialist will be responsible for handling internal communications and content creation for a global audience. - Content Development: Write, edit, and produce engaging content for internal campaigns, newsletters, town halls, intranet articles, leadership communications, and more.
- Storytelling & Brand Voice: Source and shape authentic stories that reflect our values, celebrate our people, and support business priorities. Maintain a consistent tone and style aligned with Weir’s brand and communication standards.
- Channel Management: Support the planning and delivery of content across internal platforms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and reach.
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute communication plans that drive employee engagement.
- Performance Insights: Monitor engagement metrics and feedback to refine content strategies and improve impact.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Bachelor’s degree – Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in agency or corporate communications, with a strong track record of creating and managing content- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Demonstrated ability to craft mission-driven content, network with stakeholders at all levels, and manage multiple projects effectively
