What You’ve Accomplished

- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Business, Marketing, a related field, or comparable experience in lieu of degree

- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management

- Knowledge of PC-based applications such as MS Office or similar software.

The following qualifications are preferred

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in communications, graphic design, marketing, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

- Ability to write and edit clear, engaging, and grammatically correct content.

- A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

- Action-oriented and curious individual who demonstrates collaboration, strong emotional intelligence and willingness to tackle new projects.

- Strong work ethic.

- Computer and software knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Your Opportunity

This temporary role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Communications & Multimedia Specialist in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Corporate Business Unit. Your work will include:

- Draft, refine and edit communications deliverables aligning with campaign goals and business priorities.

- Collaborate with partners across the company to support integrated plans and content – including feature stories, internal employee messages, social media content, posters, digital graphics, executive briefings and video assets.

- Support communication leads across the organization in the development and execution of tactics for multiple audiences and platforms, including internal and external events.

- Coordinate with peers in marketing, human resources, information technology and other business units to ensure message consistency, share assets, and serve as a key conduit between functions.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $26.60 - $34.80 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
