Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Distribution Crew performs general labor functions for the construction and maintenance of overhead distribution lines.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in the EPE/WTC Lineworker Certification Program
- Must successfully complete the WTC Lineworker Certification Program.
- Must pass El Paso Electric screening requirements, including drug and alcohol test, background check, Motor Vehicle Report, and a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE).
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with officers, managers, fellow employees, and the general public.
- Ability to maintain a strong sense of propriety concerning confidential matters.
- Provide assistance with loading and unloading materials and tools onto and from the line trucks and trailers.
- Provide assistance carrying materials to the job site for the construction and/or maintenance of distribution lines.
- May provide assistance to crews with the performance of construction and/or maintenance on distribution lines.
- Valid driver’s license and be in compliance with the Company’s Driving Program policy.
- Complies with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and code of ethics as well as all applicable governmental laws and regulations, include employment, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
- Perform other related tasks that are not included, but are within the context of the duties defined.
