The Business Analyst Intern will work closely in helping with small internal projects within HR Ops and Payroll functions.
- Update the existing process maps
- Create new process maps
- Documentation of the fit-gaps and asses the improvements of missing processes
- Create change control procedures and instructions to adapt them
- Create procedures for security controls
- Create the business requirement document
- Work with ADP and the team to enhance the current workflow procedures
- Refining the current or creating new standard operating procedures
- Work closely with the VP, attending meetings on the new cloud strategy and documenting keynotes
- Develop status reports in Excel and PowerPoint slides.
- Track all project metrics and develop status reporting
Support other activities that will come up during the project period, including any optimizations needed for operations and support
- Pursuing a undergrad degree in Computer Science or similar related area of doing data analysis and process orchestrations
- Experience as a prior intern experience or a team member for any project transformation
- Prior knowledge in HR would be a great, but not a required
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships
- Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the corporate functions
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
- Strong communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
- Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
- Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
- Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
- Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
- This position is an Austin office-based role with very minimum travel visits to other RWECE locations
- Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time
