Hi-Kalibre Equipment is looking to add a motivated, detail-orientated, and customer focused Inside Sales Representative to our Edmonton Office (7321 68 Ave NW).
This individual would be responsible for providing top-notch customer service by interacting with new and existing customers primarily by phone or e-mail. The Inside Sales Representative will provide quotes to the customers, selling and fulfilling orders, making recommendations to customers, and generating new opportunities from existing customers.
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am until 4:30pm
- Some overtime or after hours may be required.
- Preparing quotations as per product requirement specified by the customer and delivering in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison between our customers and engineering to develop application specific products in a timely and proactive manner.
- Track all sales orders to ensure on time delivery and expedite customer orders as required.
- Communicate customer concerns to management.
- Developing long-term, service-oriented relationships with clients through effective and professional communication.
- Prepare and check all documentation provided with sales orders at time of shipment, including quality certification packages.
- Prepare quotations based on estimates, prepare pricing for review and approval, and analyze the feasibility of replacing with new equipment.
- Arrange for shipping and customs paperwork for all customer shipments, orders and repair jobs.
- Participate with “On-Call” activities as scheduled.
- Input all sales and service transactions into ERP system, including documentation of all customer information exchanges in CRM.
- Proactively adjusting forecast information for specific products based on customer input and industry trends.
- Work with production, planning and purchasing to determine priorities and update customers with any revised delivery dates.
- Ensures customer satisfaction, including investigation and resolution of customer problems with service, delivery, and quality in cooperation with management.
- Able to represent the company in a professional manner at all times, showing an excellent sales aptitude along with the ability to learn and apply knowledge of Company’s products and services to provide solutions for customers. Occasional visits to local customers and trade shows are required.
- Any other duties as required by management.
- Degree or Technical Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or Communications.
- 3+ years’ experience in sales and client management in an oilfield environment is required.- Knowledge of customs, export, freight or transportation industry is an asset
- Strong communication and relationship management skills for customer interactions.
- Self-starter: motivated, customer focused, and results driven.
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, CRM and Sales Order entry software.
- Experience in Epicor an asset.
- Experience with the exploration industry, including rig owners and operations in an asset.
