Continental Wire Cloth is a Canadian manufacturing company that supplies aggregate screens and accessories, woven and welded wire mesh, expanded metal, perforated metal, fine wire mesh, raw wire and related products to western Canada for over 70 years.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, generating sales from inbound inquiries, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless communication and service throughout the sales cycle. A strong emphasis is placed on customer service excellence, clear communication, math skills (measurements and conversions) and knowledge of shipping and logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.

•

Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

•

Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales orders, and delivery schedules.

•

Provide product information and technical support in a clear and professional manner.

•

Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.

•

Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, shipping timelines, backorders, and any service disruptions.

•

Handle customer complaints or issues with tact, ensuring resolution and satisfaction.

•

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and orders in Sage Business Vision

•

Monitor inventory levels and provide updates to customers as needed.

•

Understand and adhere to all company policies related to pricing, credit, and returns.

Qualifications:

•

Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or related field (2+ years preferred).

•

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•

Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.

•

Solid understanding of shipping processes, including carriers, delivery terms, tracking, and freight terminology.

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and sales/order processing software.

•

Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work in a fast-paced environment.

•

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

•

Math skills (measurements and conversions)

•

Preference shall be given to candidates with manufacturing or industrial background.
