Inside Sales Representative/ Account Manager – Automation/Measurement/Electrical Products & Controls
Pro-Tek Field Services (PFS) is a leading electrical, automation, measurement, controls, service and products sales company providing professional services and control system solutions to a diverse client base within multiple industries, specializing in the upstream, midstream, and downstream markets. Pro-Tek is currently in the process of expanding sales efforts in the Permian Basin area and is actively looking to hire an experienced Inside sales rep/ account manager to cover this territory of Permian Basin to include Southeast New Mexico operations.
Pro-Tek is searching for a highly professional and energetic inside sales/account manager with a passion for customer engagement and satisfaction. The selected candidate will manage inside sales and key accounts consisting of many end user Operators, EPC firms, and OEM packagers established in the Oil and Gas industry. Placing a high level of focus on flow, pressure, level and temperature instrumentation sales. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a strong team, selling the best electrical & automation solutions and services in the Oil & Gas market.
Primary customer interface, providing details of Pro-Tek’s services and solutions to customers
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate personel for further development and closure
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Present to clients while effectively articulating the specifics
Work closely with clients to provide custom solutions to meet desired specifications for electrical automation and measurement applications
Stay up to date with industry trends as it relates to customer requirements, opportunities and timelines
Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement products is required
BS in Engineering/ Marketing preferred but not required
2+ years of sales experience in industrial automation, specifically O&G (preferred, not required)
2+ years of experience within the upstream, midstream, and/or downstream markets with a focus on electrical, automation, measurement & controls (preferred, not required)
Emerson, Fisher ROC, Flow Boss, Rosemount end devices, DeltaV platform
ABB Products, to include Total Flows, the RMC-100, and various other ABB end devices
Experience working for a control systems integrator or vendor in the O&G industry is a plus
