Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead Phase 1 and Phase 2 efforts for major new project and program proposals. This role will be instrumental in initiating, planning, and coordinating feasibility and scoping work on high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project documentation skills, with the ability to drive early-stage project success.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage development of proposals for major projects and programs in alignment with organizational goals.
•Oversee all Phase 1 (Initiation) and Phase 2 (Planning) activities, including feasibility studies, project scoping, resource planning, and documentation.
•Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, and constraints.
•Produce and maintain detailed project documentation including charters, business cases, and schedules.
•Facilitate collaboration across engineering, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely deliverables.
•Identify potential project risks and actively work on mitigation strategies.
•Report status updates, deliverables, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
•Ensure compliance with regulations, internal standards, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on proposal development or early-phase project planning.
•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on-time results.
•Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to solve problems proactively.
•Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
•Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar project management software.
•Experience in energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors preferred.
Education & Certifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
•PMP certification (or equivalent) highly desirable.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $64.00 - $66.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
