The Industrial Designer IV
is responsible for leading design collaboration efforts across the company. This role influences company strategy through design and extends the reach of the design philosophy to all areas of the organization.
Major Responsibilities
- Advance the company's design philosophy, leading strategic design initiatives that align with business objectives and enhance market position.
- Responsible for overseeing the translation of innovative concepts into executable design projects that elevate the brand and resonate with global markets.
- Lead and execute strategic design projects from insight to market launch.
- Collaborate with research teams to integrate new innovations into product design.
- Direct the development and refinement of Visual Brand Language (VBL) across product lines.
- Mentor and manage Industrial Designers I through III, fostering professional growth and ensuring design excellence.
- Oversee complex design projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or equivalent.
- Proficient in leading design innovation and managing the design process from conception through to production.
- Exceptional skill in using advanced design software including SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite, Creo, and Sketchbook Pro.
- Ability to create and implement VBL standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to multitask, deliver, and adapt to complex projects within tight deadlines in a global team environment.
