Stellar Oilfield Rentals Hobbs, New Mexico

Stellar Oilfield Rentals provides housing, communications, power, and critical site support for oilfield operations across Texas and surrounding regions. We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians to join our team in the Hobbs, NM location.

This role keeps our field operations running cool, safe, and mission-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC and AC systems, including split units

- Charge R410A, R454B, and R-32 units

- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues

- Perform routine maintenance: clean coils, filters, drain pans, and lubricate components

- Repair or replace motors, belts, compressors, thermostats, wiring, and other HVAC parts

- Inspect and service refrigeration equipment, ice machines, and cooling systems

- Adjust airflow controls, dampers, diffusers, and fan speeds

- Conduct preventive maintenance and read gauges/meters to verify system performance

- Perform building and facility maintenance as needed

- Complete other duties assigned by management

Requirements

- High school diploma or GED

- EPA 608 Type II Certification required

- Additional HVAC certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence) preferred

- Ability to work independently and maintain professional conduct

- Strong safety awareness and willingness to work long hours as needed

- Must be 21+ years old (for driving/insurance requirements)

- Acceptable MVR (no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years)

- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and remain in company program

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
