Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical skills, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

•

Install new HVAC systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

•

Maintain and repair existing HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.

•

Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling equipment to identify problems.

•

Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency.

•

Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.

•

Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts.

•

Operate various tools and equipment safely, including welding equipment for repairs.

•

Handle ammonia refrigeration systems in compliance with safety regulations.

•

Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment.

Skills

•

Proficient in maintaining HVAC systems with a focus on air conditioning and refrigeration.

•

Strong mechanical skills with experience in equipment repair.

•

Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting.

•

Experience as a van driver for transporting tools and equipment to job sites.

•

Knowledge of welding techniques for repairing metal components of HVAC systems.

•

Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

•

Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.87 - $35.00 per hour
