Our technicians work on a variety of equipment, including oil, propane, geothermal, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, rooftop units, walk-in coolers, and air conditioning. We don't expect every technician to have master skills at everything, but we do expect that they will succeed in showing adaptability, quality, and high customer satisfaction.
A day in the life of a technician might include performing maintenance and repair on equipment, troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, changing parts, and conducting routine inspections. Our techs work together to set a schedule or take turns being on call for emergency evening and weekend service. We make it a top priority to respond to service calls as they are needed. We expect our technicians to show up to work with a positive attitude, on time, and work as a team for our customers' good.
We utilize field management software to maintain accurate records of all work performed and provide technicians with a tablet to do so. We expect a good driving experience as you will be provided with a van to transport equipment and tools to job sites.
We understand that you may not have had experience in all facets of heating and cooling but expect at least 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician with strong mechanical knowledge and understanding. Candid with less experience will be considered for a residential installation helper position, which advances to a service tech. You must be comfortable communicating with customers your ability and resolution of diagnosis and repair or replacement recommendations.
