Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in property maintenance, focusing on the diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires proficiency in working with refrigerants, and the ability to read schematics for effective troubleshooting and repair.
Responsibilities
•
Diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
•
Diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems using various tools.
•
Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
•
Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and fans.
•
Utilize welding techniques for equipment repairs when necessary.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
•
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
•
Drive company vehicles to job sites as required.
•
Work with home and business owners in a conscientious manner.
•
Show honesty and integrity in all client interactions.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in HVAC technology or related field.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
•
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
•
Experience in equipment repair.
•
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for van driving duties.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
