We are working with Manor Communities to find a Rockstar HR Business Partner.
Manor Communities is a multi-site organization with 10 residential communities. We are a people-first company committed to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for both our residents and our staff.
To better support our growing business, we're seeking an HRBP to help enhance and centralize our HR functions. This is a critical role that will serve as a strategic partner to our leadership and managers, ensuring we build a cohesive and compliant HR foundation for the future.
As our HR Business Partner, you'll be a hands-on generalist who works closely with our managers and employees across all communities. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Employee Relations & Management Support: Provide consultative guidance to managers on a wide range of HR matters, including performance management, progressive discipline, and employee relations. You'll help them navigate complex situations and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to making offers and coordinating pre-employment background checks. You'll also be responsible for creating and delivering a standardized, pre-start date onboarding process to ensure new hires feel welcomed and prepared for their roles.
- Compliance & Policy Development: Partner with leadership to develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all key HR functions. You'll assist in creating and implementing a comprehensive employee handbook, ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment laws.
- HRIS Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for our HRIS (iSolved), ensuring the system is optimized and used effectively for payroll, benefits, and employee data management. You'll help transition our documentation to a digital, "single source of truth" system.
- Training & Development: Identify training gaps for managers and help develop and deliver training programs on critical topics like effective communication, performance management, and progressive discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or business partner capacity within a multi-site organization.
- Proven experience with HRIS platforms.
- Experience in a non-profit, senior living, or multi-family residential industry is a plus.
