You are a strategic business partner who is skilled in the execution and planning of important corporate projects. As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) here at Badger, you will play a key role in achieving our business strategy and support people initiatives such as coaching, career development, employee/labor relations, internal mobility, retention plans, talent acquisition strategies, and succession planning.
Your compensation for this position will be commensurate with your education or work experience.
- Develop strong bonds and credibility with clients, operations personnel, and people leaders to gain support from the company.
- Maintain a consistent field presence to gain knowledge about the business and anticipate the future needs of your business partners
- Offer guidance and advice to leaders by recognizing, assessing, and resolving human resources challenges.
- Coach Badger's people leaders on our performance management process to maintain consistency and elevate talent
- Collaborate with our leaders in HR and in the field to ensure that our talent is properly matched to positions in order to achieve Badger's goals
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent preferred.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP designation considered an asset.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in human resources as a generalist in both Canada and the US with experience in the following areas: health & safety, labor relations, human rights, disability management, employee relations.
- Knowledge of employment legislation, HR trends, issues, and best practices.
- Proven experience managing ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of strategies across multiple geographies in partnership with leadership.
