An opportunity has arisen within the HSEQ Department for an HSEQ Manager. The successful candidate will be based in Houston, TX and will report to the Senior Vice President. The HSEQ Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Salary range: $110,000 - $135,000 (dependent on experience)
- Develop and implement health, safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, liaising with regulatory bodies as needed.
- Ensure risk assessments, safety audits and workplace inspections are performed and manage internal/external audit plans and coordinate certifications.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; provide reports and recommendations.
- Monitor environmental impacts and ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Lead initiatives to reduce the company’s environmental impact.
- Deliver HSEQ training and toolbox talks to staff and contractors.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and non-conformities.
- Manage HSEQ supplier and onsite contractor approval and management processes.
- Member of the Company Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Assurance or relevant discipline, or Professional HSE Certification, or 5-7 years of experience in a similar HSEQ role.
- Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
- DOT supervisor drug and alcohol awareness training preferred but not required.
- Experience leading HSEQ audits, investigation and training.
- Experience in maintaining Management Systems in line with ISO standards.
- Ability to translate standards requirements to the Company Management Systems.
- Detailed knowledge of ISO Standards (9001,14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001) and interpretations
- Experience in leading incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Experience in developing and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
All regular full-time employees are eligible to participate in our flexible work schedule which consists of eight (8) work days of nine (9) hours and one work day of eight (8) hours for a total of eighty (80) hours during two (2) consecutive work weeks. The eight (8) hour work day must be the employee’s working Friday. Under the 9/80 schedule for salaried exempt employees, one calendar week shall consist of 44 hours (four 9-hour days and one 8-hour day) and the alternating calendar week will consist of 36 hours (four 9-hour days and one day off). Employees can “opt-out” and work the regular work week.
