- Responsible for supporting branch operations by ensuring compliance with corporate HSE policies, federal/state regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, TCEQ), and customer requirements.
- Overseeing implementation of the HSE Management System and maintaining compliance in training, recordkeeping, permits, and reporting.
- Managing hazardous waste tracking and reporting.
- Leading incident investigations and supporting problem resolution.
- Developing site-specific industrial hygiene plans.
- Compiling and evaluating HSE data for internal and external reporting.
- Conducting regular facility inspections (e.g., fire extinguishers, eyewash stations).
- Delivering HSE communications and coordinating safety meetings and training.
- Managing third-party safety training and supporting new hire onboarding.
- Attending customer HSE meetings and building client relationships.
- Facilitating risk assessments (JHAs, JSAs) and change management processes (MOC).
- Performing field audits and providing onsite HSE guidance.
- Available for HSE-related events outside of regular business hours.
The preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (or associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Science); CSP or ASP certification preferred.
- 1-2 years in an HSE-related role, ideally in oil & gas, or equivalent education in the HSE field.
- Strong understanding of HSE compliance, risk assessment, and data analysis with the ability to interpret trends and impacts.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Independent and proactive, able to manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of field and office work.
