HRIS Project Specialist

As a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Project Specialist, you will play a lead role in putting cutting edge systems and technology into the hands of employees across the organization. From companywide system implementations to custom-built tools, you will have a front row seat in the design, configuration, implementation, training, and support of critical HR systems. Your project management, customer service, and systems thinking skills will help you excel in this highly consultative role.

Minimum Qualifications Include

- High School diploma or GED required.

- Minimum 5 years of experience with HR systems functionality required

- Ability to work off-hours and on weekends for projects and/or support as needed required

- Ability to travel to remote work sites up to 10-20% of the time required

- Ability to work on-site, in-person at the Valero San Antonio location required

The Most Competitive Candidates Will Have

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or related area preferred

- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into clear instruction for end users preferred

- Experience in implementing and maintaining systems as a functional or configuration expert preferred
