Pay: $15 an hour. Pay is dependent on experience and skillset. Amount is not inclusive of total compensation package.

What can you expect as a housekeeper on a typical shift at ACEMCO?
As a , your primary responsibility is keeping the working areas in the production departments of industrial establishment in clean and orderly condition. As a first shift housekeeper, you will perform a variety of operations including but not limited to:
Cleans lint, dust, oil and grease from machines, overhead pipes, and conveyors
Cleans floors using hand mops, brooms and floor scrubbing machine and apply floor sealer.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, lunchrooms, and other work areas.
Responsible for washing windows, door panels, and sills.
Operates industrial trucks to transport materials within plant.
Able to understand and follow written and verbal workplace instructions.
Completes additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the supervisor/manager.
To perform this position as a second shift housekeeper successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Able to use industrial floor cleaning machines (preferred).
Must be able to meet the physical demands of position.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hearing protection is required and supplied. Eye protection (safety glasses) is required and supplied. You are required to purchase and wear steel toe safety shoes or boots.
