Heavy Equipment Operator

We are looking to immediately hire Heavy Equipment Operators with 3-5 years of field experience, to our team! Pipeline Experience is considered an asset.

Job description

Heavy Equipment Operator Duties Include but are not limited to:

- Reporting directly to the foreman/on-site supervisor.

- Adhering the ALL safety policies and procedures.

- Taking direction from and working with the client to obtain the desired results.

- Loading and unloading site materials or equipment.

- Tending to general maintenance of equipment as required. (Greasing, oil changes, etc.)

- Keeping the equipment clean and in good shape at ALL times.

- Working safely with the ground crew, supporting, and mentoring them when applicable.

- Lifting and carrying heavy objects up to 50lbs (Greater than 50lbs with an approved assisted lift plan)

- May be responsible for some jobsite planning/ordering.

- Ensuring coworkers are following all safety practices and procedures.

- Complying with ALL safety standards set forth by Northrok Construction Ltd. and their respective clients.

Certification Requirements:

- Class 5 Drivers Licence

- Standard First Aid

- H2S

- Transportation of Dangerous Goods

- Ground Disturbance

- Northrok Orientation, WHMIS & any applicable client orientations.

- Other certificates may be required depending on scope of work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,671.00-$92,218.00 per year
