Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and heavy equipment operation, with the ability to safely and efficiently operate various types of machinery on construction sites. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Duties

- Operate heavy equipment including dozers and excavators.

- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe work environment.

- Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites as needed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction site operations is preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery operation.

- Experience operating various types of heavy equipment including Caterpillar machinery, farm machinery, and tankers.

- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
