Heavy Equipment Operator & Laborer

Cornerstone Crushing, LLC is a construction company specializing in concrete, asphalt, and natural aggregate crushing. Cornerstone Crushing offers an entire fleet of crushing equipment for major commercial, industrial, and public projects. Cornerstone is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team! We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and high-energy individual to fill a Heavy Equipment Operator position.

Must have a valid driver's license and dependable car and be able to travel within a 150 mile radius of Wooster/Mansfield Ohio. Class A or B CDL license is preferred but not required. Travel pay is offered when driving more than 1.5 hours from home.

Anticipated starting base rate is based on experience with overtime available almost every week. Health insurance and PTO benefits offered after 90 days of service.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

- Be familiar with the different equipment on a crushing spread

- Know how to operate the crushing equipment

- Keep equipment and work trucks clean, serviceable road-worthy

- Pass pre-employment drug screen

- Traveling to the jobsite

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

- Capable of operating front-end-loader, excavator, skid steer, and crushing plant

- Ability to inspect equipment before operating and determine if there is any issue

- Work on a team

- Being on-time to the job site each day

- Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate with your team and supervisor (foreman)

- Clearly document your equipment inspections and findings to your foreman

- Understand the Company's business and customer base

Normal working hours are 6am – 5pm M-F. Travel pay is offered when traveling more than 1.5 hours from home. Overtime occurs regularly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
